MCTV offers television production experience to students enrolled in the TV/Radio program at Montgomery College. Students must have completed TR130 - Television Production and have a "B" average to be considered. Montgomery College Television is partnered with the Communications Arts Technologies department to provide as much "hands-on" experience to student volunteers as possible.
Studio, Electronic News Gathering (ENG), Electronic Field Production (EFP) and editing opportunities are available throughout each semester in a variety of crew positions.
Just a few of the many shows and events our students have participated in:
Student Academic Awards Ceremonies
Chautauqua
Commencement
Performing Arts
Montgomery College Sports coverage
Guest lectures and much more
In addition to volunteer opportunities, MCTV also offers a limited number of paid student assistant positions each year.
